Mouse Click Issue

I have trouble dragging things. For example, when dragging the scrollbar down, it will forget that I am clicking and simply stop. I then have to click it again and continue scrolling.  It does this often. I run Windows 98 on a fairly old computer but I have never had this problem before.

Perhaps the mouse needs to be replaced. Either try cleaning it or install a different mouse to see if the problem persists.
