Laptop Screen Problems.
« on: May 13, 2006, 02:12:02 AM »
I started getting this problem where the bottom of my screen about 1/4th of a 14" laptop screen. The portion freezes, while the top works just fine. The bottom portion is incredibly slow and is trying to catch up with the top. It's really slow and has tons of lines, and changes by a wave like movement.

I've only had this for a couple of days but it won't go away. I don't know what it is and how to make it go away.

Thanks.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1600 for less than a year.

the only thing i could think of would be a fried video card or monitor.

and since im no expert with laptops, i dont know if u can pull out ur video card and test it in another computer to see if its the problem. i dont even know if laptops have video cards, or just the motherboard monitor jack.  :P
