video card
« on: June 08, 2006, 06:33:59 PM »
Hi.  I am a newbie, so I hope I am on the right board.  I have a Emachine that has an onboard video card.  This card doesn't have a s-video out plug attached to it.  I would like to watch the shows that I have downloaded from my computer on my television(television has s-video out). I have three PCI slots in the back of my computer, but no AGP slots.  How can I install a video card with a s-video out plug; and where can I buy such card?   Any help with this issue will be appreciated.  Thank you.  maryhigginsrice :-?

All you need is a PCI video card. Many of them today have S-Video ports. Just go to your local electronics or computer store. Make sure you buy a card that it's compatible. The store clerks/sales reps will be able to help you with that.
