hi,

i once had the option of hibernate on my pc with windows xp installed. But later after some days the option vanished. now i even don't have option of standby. i tried all stuff in help . but couldn't  solve the issue . please anyone help me.

 naresh.......  Why don't you go into the control panel / Power options and set it up the way you want ?  

Once you have it set ........ leave it alone ..... Don't fiddle with the settings ......LOL
