    iPod hacks?
    « on: July 10, 2006, 10:57:06 PM »
I have a 30 GB video iPod, and I was wondering about these so called 'hacks' for it. How useful are they, and what damage could they do?

BTW I was also wondering if you can back up your whole iPod to a hard drive, cd's whatever.

    Thanks,

The hacks can range from extremely useful to rendering the unit useless...
When you hook up an iPod to a PC it will see it as a mass storage device and treat it like an external HDD.

I use a program called iPod Agent to transfer songs from the iPod to my computer.
