    That's like saying who makes a better pizza, this shop or that shop. Sometimes one, sometimes the other. The two companies constantly compete to have the fastest graphics cards. Sometimes one is in the lead, sometimes another is. What models were you thinking about in particular? There are plenty of benchmarks to compare them online.

    Next time please make your title more descriptive...  ::) As Neil said they do compete.  One month one will be ahead of the other...maybe in a lesser period of time actually.  I have an x800 Radeon 256mb card and it hasnt given me an problems.  My card is equivalent to the Geforce 7800.  A better way to look at is make sure whatever you purchase is either one of the two brands  ;D  And in this day and age get nothing less than a 256mb card.  Hope that helps.
