    Browser trouble
    « on: August 08, 2006, 12:01:39 PM »
I am having problems with veiwing a certain website. The document itself for the website is fine but when veiwing it with internet explorer it resizes  the tables and text and makes them look out of place. My freind who uses mozilla firefox browser has no trouble veiwing the site on his browser. So i was wondering, how do I change my Internet explorer setting to veiw the web page as it should be?

What page is this? Is it on the Internet, or is it a file of yours?

If it is your file, can you WinZip the file and attach it so we can take a look at it?

Oh man, I hate ficing someone else's broken multi-level nested tables...

First suggestion: try using valign='top' on your table cells.  That will fix one problem.  As for the others, the approach I use in my own web designing when something like this happens, is to strip back the page to its bare bones and then start adding elements until something breaks.  You can then more easily figure out what the problem is.

I'm sorry, but on such a complex page I personally don't have the time to go through it with a fine-tooth comb.
