i need to get a version of java script that helps myspace, bank of america, and yahoo mail... b/c i have the latest one and its not working... on those sites.. and anything else that needs javascript... any links or downloads..

    i need to download one of the old javascript downloads b/c on some programs it doestn work.. i cant sign in on bank of america.. delete stuff on my space and yahoo... it sucks... cause i need to get in on my bank of america online account... thats why....

      Are you refering to java from sun systems ? the current one is JRE 1.5.0_07 I think .
      I just went to myspace and signed in with no problems ....using that version

      guess it doesnt help that i think i got malware... thats wat someone told me any FREE ways to get rid of viruses and spyware and maleware...etc...

        Well use proper English and give a LOT of information about your system. What were you using for protection? I ask because it didn't work. Myspace now has a whole lot of new bad news for you also:

        Specifically, how do you know you need to update java?  Do you see a message SPECIFICALLY telling you that?  

        Go to http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp and click on Verify Installation ».  What happens?

        They are up to JRE 1.5.0_08 now.  I just checked, and also just updated.
