« on: September 11, 2006, 10:49:22 AM »
Is  there a device to turn an internal hd into an external hd, with usb or something close? if so, where could i find one, and about how much do they run?

Yes, you can take either an IDE or SATA hard drive out of the case and put it in an external hard drive case.  I have both IDE & SATA external cases and they run off a USB connection.

    Newegg.com

    Tigerdirect.com

    CompUsa.com

Between $50 - $80 (but don't quote me on the prices)

Just buy a case and put your existing drive in there - $15-20.
