What is the difference in Active X and Flash Player? I have been getting a lot of web sites that say I need to update Flash player but I think I have that latest version. Every time I try to download the newer version it never works. How can I get Internet Explorer to know I have this program?

ActiveX, and flashplayer is used for dynamic content on websites such as videos, games, menu selections, ect...

Where are you dloading Flash from ? ?

This could be why it won't update properly...
