Ogg Vorbis Mode 1(.wav problem)

I have recently re-installed windows, and I re-installed my realtek ac'97 audio driver from the CD, I can play every file but .wav's meaning my driver is working fine.

The problem
The problem is, my computer wont play .wav files.
I open Windows Media Player, and it tells me I need the audio codec with the format tag 674f(Ogg Vorbis Mode 1).
And I went online, and I downloaded the codec, and no matter what, it keeps bringing up that error.
