MS Word Problem
« on: January 30, 2007, 01:39:23 PM »
:exclamation Hey guys, i just joined in hopes that you could help me out with my problem here. I have Microsoft Word XP running and for the life of me, i can't select the text with my cursor. i've tried rebooting my computer and even resorted to re-installing the program! still, it won't allow me to select text with the cursor so that i can ctrl-C and what-not. now I can use the keyboard to select by holding shift and using the arrow keys. i've even tried disabling/enabling the "safety/protection" for Word. Nothing prevails! please help me out, thanks!  :exclamation

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

    To dl65's response:

Yes, but that shouldn't matter right?

    To fffreak's response:

    I did, it didn't help.

What about WordPad, Notepad, your web browser, etc.?  Can you select text in them with your mouse?
