« on: February 25, 2007, 05:08:10 PM »
I have a Via Tech computer with a Lite-on cd-rom driver and a Realtek AC'97 Audio Card installed.  the name of the cdrom driver is LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1633S.  The name of the sound device is REALTEK AC'97.

I have DOS 6.22 installed and need to find the correct syntax to write to config.sys and autoexec.bat for these drivers.

Can anyone out there PLESE HELP???? :-?

Are you sure there are drivers for DOS and the sound chip? What is the motherboard make and model?

You may be able to get some basic CD functionality for the drive, but that's all. I would check the LiteOn site for this.
