you know when you make it ask for your username and password
it wil change it format to a box like thing...

so i want the effect of it still being able to use the welcome screen
but you have to type the username and password

I think in order to have to type your username and password at startup, you have to use that thing in windows xp where you press CTRL ALT DELETE and type the username and password and stuff.
Why do you want this? Just curious, don't have to answer if you don't want to. Just seems like entering your username is so much work...

Well just for fun you would have to write a new splash screen with the ability to handle user logins and such...

I do not dabble in writing code so perhaps others here could assist.

Is it do able ? ?  Yes.

          Fun ? ?

          I don't know.
