Hi,

I am on a network with my roommates and we got the internet working for everyone but I am having difficulty using the internet with any browser (I have both IE and Firefox).  My messenger works fine and I tried going into the run>cmd> and pinging google.ca and it worked which my friend mentioned that it means the connection works.

I was looking under network places and internet connection and it says it is disabled and when I click enable it does something and says enabled for a second but then becomes disabled again.  I am not sure how to correct this but this seems like it may be the source of the problem.

If anyone has any ideas as to how to fix this I would greatly appreciate to hear them.  I am going to try and reinstall a browser but not sure if this will solve the problem.

Thanks.

Calum

Has this ever worked?
What OS and protection do you have?
And how do you connect?

It worked when I used Rogers at home 2 weeks ago.

I have Windows XP and connect through a network.

I have the Rogers Norton version that comes with the Rogers internet.
