Any chance of a "solved" icon for threads that get sorted?

Also, what do all the smiley faces, question marks, and what nots in the forum list view  mean, there is no key.

No need for a key. Its just set so that people can describe their post with an icon.

(eg: Honvetops congratulates people with a Thumbs Up, or dis-congratulates with thumbs down)

Solving them is the key...then we can go from there.

Some forums tend to mark solved threads by having a mod or admin, or the OP, edit the title to include "Solved!" at the end.
I just think it's extra work, there doesn't seem to be much point to them.
The smiley faces etc usually just get ignored, people use them for no reason.
However, they can be useful in some cases, for example to mark out important announcements.

Since half of the posters leave and the other 2/3 never get solved the administrators would have a hard time finding the remaining 1/3.. It would take them away from other duties.. Like.. Harassing me..!

I for one ignore Happy Faces but I do not ignore Happy Hour !
