Windows 2000 startup rundll error
« on: June 07, 2007, 12:02:37 PM »
I recently had a virus (trojan.vundo/infostealer).  I've gotten rid of that  but am now left with the problem of every time I turn on the computer I get a "RUNDLL" window with the following error message:

"Error loading c:\WINNT\system32\vbqrllvo.dll.  The specified module could not be found."

If I click "OK" it goes away and my computer runs fine.  How do I eliminate this error message?

You may want to search all files and folders for vbqrllvo.dll.  See what program that file is associated with and return your results here.

How did you get rid of the vundo pest ? ?

Some are not so easy...i suggest stopping by our Virus and Spyware Section and one of our resident guru's can take a look for you.
