    incorrect driver installed

    i installed an incorrect driver on my windows 2000 system. I can log in to windows, but after that the computer immediently restarts and i cant stop it. I have tried every method as i am an experienced computer user. Some help would be greatly appreciated. I can be contacted directly on --email removed--

    Please dont post your email address on public forums, it will result in spam caused by internet crawlers

    Try booting into safe mode, and reinstalling the driver there

      it still restarts in safe mode, i have tried everything. It was an ide controller, that my mother installed that she thought would work with my ipod. thankyou for replying
