IE window during 98se startup
« on: November 17, 2004, 12:27:55 PM »
I reinstalled win98. I find now that after selecting the profile from which I did the refresh, an IE window (with no menu bar or such) appears. It is unable to access whatever page it was seeking (I don't know either since there is no URL).

No problems otherwise. Nota Bene, when I select another user profile, the IE window does not manifest.

Please help me eliminate this odd behavior.

Thanks

Flane

I don't understand why there are differences between user profiles.  Besides looking in another profile, how do I ensure a program gets installed across all profiles. Must be some special trick, right?

Did you format before installing?

Scan for viruses, Trojan Horses and Spyware.

Better maintain your computer if your programs start to run slow.
