How do I bring up info about what's 'inside' my computer?  Like what kind of motherboard, RAM, hard drive, etc, etc?

One way is to use Everest.   You can download it here
It is free.

Install that.  Run it.   You can use it to generate a nice report.

PC Wizard 2007 is another handy program for this sort of thing.
