PC Won't Boot

Whenever I try to boot up my PC, it gives me an error message saying "System Halted". I do not know how to fix this problem, so if anyone could please lend me some advice I would greatly appreciate it, thank you.

You didn't supply any information, i.e. computer make & model number, operating system, etc.
