XP only can't access part of the HDD.
« on: August 26, 2007, 01:23:15 PM »
I am a bit of a computer newb here, so bare with me.

After failing to partition my HDD so I could duel boot Ubuntu with Windows, I gave all the HDD space back to Windows with Gparted in the LiveCD. Or so I thought. Windows XP can access only about 50gb of my 80gb HDD. How can I make it so it uses the entire HDD?
-Thanks!

EDIT: Well, I might as well give you some system states:
Windows XP service pack 2
Dell Dimension DIN4600
Intel Pentium(R) 4cpu 2.66 GHz
1.5 gb of RAM

Here is a picture. It says that there is a healthy 74.47gb space in the diagram, but it says that the capacity is only 43.64gb with 3.52gb of free space in the graph...
