    Acronis true image.
    « on: September 24, 2007, 05:17:24 PM »
Can Acronis create an image of an entire disk or does it create an image of a partition?

i.e.  If I have a hard disk with three partitions C: D: and E:, can I create an image of the entire disk on a new hdd without having to image individual partitions?

I do not yet have a copy of Acronis, just doing some research into it before raiding the bank account.

    Thanks

Acronis can copy a 1) single partition 2) multiple partitions of choice 3) entire hard drive.  You have the opportunity to choose during the set up process.
