    No not System Restore.
    A partition that contains the restore files for XP for your machine.
    Did you not get an XP CD with this machine ? ?
    If so where did XP come from ? ?
    like my parents dude... but i never had trouble and this issent really an trouble because
    you know that game is from 1997 or something..
    yust want to play it :'(
    is there any other solution then getting the CD with it?

      We bought it but dont know where the CD is<
      anyhow when i find the CD what do i do next?

      he doesn't need the XP CD at all. I ran DUMPBIN /EXPORTS on my XP version of kernel32.dll and cannot find the function anywhere in the list. Also, you cannot regsvr32 a dll file that isn't COM based. have you tried running it without compatibility mode enabled? My version works fine that way (albiet as a component of C&C the first decade....).
      I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

        how else would i get this error message if i had not already did that it would say this is a windows 95 product only...

          this is for all the peaple that wanna help me...
          I DID start up red alert it yust gives the error message cannot enter kernell32.dll trough entrypoint
          thnx for help though but check first what u post :-*lol :P

            i am over by my mom now.., i tried but it still says he cannot find entrypoint....
