Vista using HP Wireless Printer
« on: November 05, 2007, 10:29:21 AM »
I am running Vista Premium and I lose my HP wireless printer driver after a day or so.  It completley goes away...?  I have to uninstall then re-install the driver each time this occurs.  I have contacted HP and they are not aware of the problem and  for now they recommend to re-install each time.

HP C7250 All-in-One, Vista compatible  Any fixes?

wouldn't you rather connect it wired, it will have less problems unlike wireless. Did you try updating the firmware??
Theres always.....always something to grab a hold on.

I believe uninstalling and reinstalling the driver every time this happens may not be necessary.  Try this.  Open Printers (in Control Panel), click on Add a printer, select "Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer", and let Vista find your printer.

I'd also try restarting your computer as a possible solution.  Have you tried that?
