hi hope someone can help i have 2 pcs in the house and a router which i need to unplug as my son is taking his pc and i havnt got a clue wot to do and dont want to be left with no internet connection on my pc can any one tell me wot i unplug and plug back in where i really need this done asap thanks

    Why do you say that "you need to unplug the router"? If he takes the router then yes, you have to unplug it, but if he doesn't want to take away the router you may use it further.
    If the router "has to" go, there are a few cases. Your connection to ISP remains (I presume), so all you have to do is to set up your computer or buy another router and make the settings that were made on the other router.

    no he doesnt need the router so do i just unplug his pc and leave mine as it is ?
