You can view the report of the files that are still fragmented when you analyze the disk using the defragmentation utility. The windows defragger does not defrag system files such as the Master File Table (MFT) and the paging file. To defrag these files, you'll need to try with a third party defrag utility such as Diskeeper, and run a boot-time defrag after the 'normal' defrag. There are free trial versions (expire after 30 days) at www.diskeeper.com if you want to check whether it does the job.


DisKeeper Lite does'nt expire...the only feature that's crippled from the full version is the scheduler...which i don't use anyway...
