how to change language?

anyone here that can understand italian language?
i used a laptop from italy and its language is italian.
how can i change it into english languge?
what do i need to do?

i been using a window vista home edition..
please reply...

    Go erm. Internet Options, check to see a language tab, and wala!
    Theres always.....always something to grab a hold on.

      Go erm. Internet Options, check to see a language tab, and wala!
      This would only apply to languages that can be viewed in the web browser.  He did not mention web browsing.

      tuyan, just to be clear on this point, are you talking about the language used throughout Windows, in other words, the menus, icon titles, taskbar buttons, web browser, etc.?
