pop ups

My laptop never use to have any pop ups for like year and half, and now for like 5-6 months its crazy, any suggestion, I installed pop up stopper, but still no help.

Run all your current protection programs after updating them...
Then post back with a list of what you have done.

I updated my Norton anti-virus and run that, but it still didn't made any difference. Is there anything else I can do to stop these pop ups

If Norton is all you have DLoad ,install, update and run the following:

AdAware

Spybot Search and Destroy

AVG Anti-Spyware

The above are all FREE. Run only one scan at a time...let them fix whatever they find and then re-boot go online and see if things improve.
If not post back.

All these scans takes like forever.

Thanks alot for help, I am still not done but I can see the difference, will post back once will be done with all the scans.

I agree, the scans do take quite a bit of time, but believe me, it's worth the effort.
