« on: December 16, 2007, 07:41:28 AM »
i have a Intel® Desktop Board D845HV p4 1.6G  and when i leave 256 memory its fine but when i install 2 sticks of matching 256 it reboots over and over and when i put all 3 in it give me a system 32 error and wount load windows! what can i do to fix this?

i have changed out all 3 cards of memory and they work in it on the own but not when i pair them togather ! is there something on a motherboard that can restrict a board to 256?

    Make sure you're using the right RAM.  Go here...

    That particular board supports:

    Quote
    System Memory Features
    The Intel® Desktop Board D845HV has two or three DIMM sockets and support the following memory features:

        * 3.3 V (only) 168-pin SDRAM DIMMs with gold-plated contacts
        * Unbuffered single-sided or double-sided DIMMs
        * Maximum total system memory*: 3 GB with 3 DIMMs, 2 GB with 2 DIMMs (using 512 MB technology); minimum total system memory: 32 MB
        * 133 MHz SDRAM DIMMs only
        * Serial Presence Detect (SPD)
        * Suspend to RAM support
        * ECC and non-ECC DIMMs

    Make sure the memory you're putting in matches these specs.
