please help.  bought my grandchildren a new laptop for x-mas with vista on it.  The problem I am
having is I can't seem to install other programs such as wordperfectx3, frog, etc.   How can I fix whatever is causing the problem.?

    We can't really help without knowing something about the situation. All you've told us is that it is a laptop with Vista on it.
    Are you not able to install any software?
    Do you get any error messages when you try to install software?
    Can you give us the laptop's brand name and model number?
