When i booted up my computer, i logged into my windows account. Everything looked like windows 98, not XP. I noticed that my computers sound wasn't working, but when i logged in i heard the start up tune and when i logged out i heard the log off tune.
After i restarted i logged back in and then a pop up came up with 'Generic Host Process For Win32 Services'. It was weird, so then i clicked the help link, and it was saying something about DEP and about viruses.
Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?
When i went into task manager and i deleted some of the user processes it turned back to looking like XP. But i forgot which process i ended.
Oh, also when i restarted everything was back to normal, except for the error message
