the motherboard determins RAM compatiblity. if this is a custom built PC, what is the make/model of your motherboard? if this is a pre-built PC, what is the make/model of it?

Hi I used that crucial.com site....

          Matsonic MS8308EP266

          Maximum Memory Capacity:  1024MB
          Currently Installed Memory:  256MB
          Available Memory Slots:  1
          Number of Banks:  2
          Dual Channel Support:   No
          CPU Manufacturer:  AuthenticAMD
CPU Family:  AMD Athlon(tm) Processor Model 8, Stepping 0
          CPU Speed:  1245 MHz

I take it then that I can get two 512mb sticks? It says the motherboard takes a maximum of 512 in each slot.

          Would this be compatible.......
             1GB (2X 512 MB) 133Mhz SDRAM PC133 DIMM 512MB 168 PIN
