According to my experiences,you should firstly check your monitor driver.
right click the "my computer"->"hardware"-> "device management"
(or just WIN+R,and then type "Devmgmt.msc" in the "run" dialog)
in the window pop up ,choose "monitor" ,select item below ,unload it
press F5 the refresh
then restart your computer.
then "operation" ->"check for hardware change"
I do not know if you can understand what I mean.
