screen resolution

my laptop sony vaoi PCG-9A2N decrease its screen size. actually it is 15 incg screen. but now it display as 9 inch screen. it is same even when we loading system or playing any type of game or installing windows. how can we change it in to full screen mode?

Right clik a blank area of the desktop...select Properties and change the resolution to a higher setting such as 1024 X 768
