How to "Un" Disable a Disabled Enhanced USB Controller
« on: February 10, 2008, 07:11:33 PM »
I own a Sony VAIO desktop VGC-VA10G with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
While following some troubleshooting tips to fix a downloading problem with my iPod touch, I
disabled the USB Enhanced Host Controller via device manager (despite the warning).  Now, all
three USB ports are disabled and I have no keyboard or mouse control of the computer.  Both keyboard and mouse are wireless and there is no other inputs into the CPU.  Any advice greatly appreciated.

You are going to need to reset your BIOS to defaults by removing
and reinstalling the CMOS battery.
