hi in my lap default os is fedora and system run on booter of fedora but i want default os as windows xp. is there any method except reinstalling os.

Are you using the GRUB boot manager or LILO or a different boot manager? You need to edit the config for your boot loader and change the Default=# so that # = the number of your Windows partition info. If you are using GRUB then here is the manual, read it, know it, love it:http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/grub.html.

ya my booter is grub...

actually by reading i cant get how to change default .. so if possible plz explain in detail the procedure of changing default and also increasing timeout
