my com fail to power at all (no power lights). ive checked all switches and hardware. my final question:does a flat CMOS batt prevent power up?

i bought this new PSU and managed to run for 24 hours. but 6 hours later, it refuse to power up. not even the fan.

You did replacement of your PSU onyour computer, am i right? For what reasons, if I may asked, and what are the ratings of your PSU and also could you give us the specs of your computer.. Sorry if I may sound a little too demanding..
