    HP 4910 Laptop USB port dead

    The USB Port on my hp 4910 laptop suddenly stopped recognizing anything I plug into it.

    What operating system are you using?

    Are you able to see the status of the USB in Device Manager or equivalent?

        Can you give us examples of the type of USB devices you've tried (Keyboard, mouse, flash drive, external hard drive, CD-ROM)?  It might point us in the right direction.
