Hi,
I have recently acquired a problem with my computer. My icons will "go out" and when I click them they go a greyish tint to the original icon. It will not open the program. I boot my system in safe mode and recover it from a later time and i can open programs for about the first 2 minutes or so then it goes back to not being able to open the program. I right off the bat make sure i have my virus program up ( AVG) and have scanned for virus's and it does not find one. I can open music, or a word file if i click on the file but i just cant open a program unless i open a file that uses that program. I was thinking since AVG did not pick up a virus it was a hard drive malfunction but im not possitive. Any Suggestions?
