    Start Menu
    « on: April 23, 2008, 12:15:08 AM »
F*cking start menu changet it's size after an unknown application opened up.
This happened after I installed my new keyboard  drivers , but I'm sure It has nothing 2 do with that.
     ??? ??? ???
I know I must touch the registry (Start>Run>Regedit) to change it back to its normal size , but I just dunno where  ???
My start menu Is like this now (image link) :
    http://store.picbg.net/pubpic/B2/23/82cae124513ab223.png
And as U can see , it's pretty larger than the normal Start Menu
IF ANYONE CAN HELP I'LL BE VERY PLEASED !!!

    No reason for swearing, please.
Point to the edge of the taskbar until the pointer changes into a double-headed  arrow, and then drag the border up or down.

IT DOESNT CHANGE INTO SUCH AN ARROW !!!
And I'm still 1,000,000,000% sure that it's not from the keyboard drivers.
A ...... a...... what was that? Oh , yeah Accsessability Wizard opened up FOR SOME REASON !
And I clicked next , then the menu got bigger , and when I clicked cancel to get it back 2 normal and guess what - nothing. Start Menu remained BIG SIZED and now my tray Icons look so ..... pixely.

If anyone can show me how to fix this again I say I'LL BE GLAD !!!!!!!!

Right click on empty taskbar space, and remove checkmark next to Lock the Tasbar, first.

Unlock taskbar. Right click on it. Click Properties. Click Start Menu tab>Customize button. Scroll all the way down. Do you have "Use large icons" ticked?

            1280x1024
If you wanna see my full desktop and how big my icons are here you go.

When we bought the monitor even on it's box it said 1280x1024, so it ain't that either.

And for those who don't get a thing when they read this ,
in HERE the red arrow in the bottom is the problem no the orange ones...

Just look at the hidden in the taskbar Opera browser , µTorrent , NetConnection and NOD32.
Could a taskbar icon have such bad quality , and could it be so ....... pixely ... ???

                Again - nope , didn't work for me...  :(
Opera opened the .reg files in text view mode , so I saved them on my desktop , opened them , restarted explorer from task manager a couple o' times , but no effect.
All that happened is just adding some files to the registry.

                P.S.:
                Is ........ THIS THING
free in the taskbar repair tool plus?
The buttons are active , and still after clicking on "small" and a re-start of explorer in WinTask Manager this doesen't work.....

                EDIT :
That's for another thing , sorry.
The bad thing is that the "RESTORE TASKBAR DEFAULTS" option is no available in the free version...
