i just got this program for free leagaly! its from autodesks site only thing is its not for commercial use  http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=7635018 go to where it says maya PLE availible now and click download free! no trial/demo! i think i couple things might be disabled though

The Learner Edition is Free for non-commercial use...

theres an annoying thing when i make it to veiw solid objust it says all accross the screen maya personal learning edition all over its very annoying and when i render something too
