    A good idea as a precaution.  Mite be the cpu or something but thats up too you if you want us to help still.
    Windows 7 RC Tester.  Working on it.  Your monitor says etchasketch on the side!

      try removing and re-seating your memory(RAM module), sometimes ram appears to be seated firmly but no contacts on the slot (because of dirt)..

      this problem has a lot of causes, and it takes a lot of patience...but hope this helps..... :-\
