    no matching beep pattern
    « on: July 02, 2008, 06:25:06 PM »
    Hello:

I did find a matching beep pattern on the beep page.

I do not know the BIOS (can not read it on any board chip).  It is either AIM, Phoenix or Award.  I did find a small square chip with "PH" on the top line.

When I push the on button, an endless beep is made at the same rapid interval.  I counted 25 before I stopped.  I tried two more times with the same beep pattern.

When I push the on button, the power supply starts and power lights on the front of the panel display.  Nothing displays on the monitor.

Removing and reinstalling the ram has gotten me closer to starting the computer again.

Will make a new post for where the start up is now

        Thanks for the suggestion Sam
