    « on: July 09, 2008, 11:37:37 AM »
    Hi,
I dont know much about computers but i have just formated my pc because it had crashed and now am trying to install a few applications. i have two disks on my comp a C: disk which has 120gb and a smaller D: disk which only has 2.6ish gb. everything im downloading is saving to the D: disk which had already almost ran out of disk space.
    what do I do?

Formatting won't clean your drive, scrub it clean & re-partition it.
If you Format it, it's just like deleting things, they're still on the drive.
Scrub it with Zero Fill & re-partition with Disc Genius.

Works for me all the time. ( I've done this with numerous computers.

no doesnt give me an option just automatically downloads to D.
Is that because i am using firefox?
there is now only 1mb of free space on disk D and theres a message keep popping up saying this is critical.
theres still 110gb free space on disk C

While in FF: Tools>Options>Main Tab, tell FF where to download files.

...when will you have time to do it over?
