Sound problems, how can i restore?
    « on: August 05, 2008, 01:58:27 PM »
I opened a voice chat on AIM on accident and my sound seemed to have got much softer with some static along with it and just does not sound nearly as clear as it did before and everything is on the same settings as it was before. Is there a way i can restore my sound to as it was before? Please help thank you.

Can you see the device in the device manager (Control Panel)?

There should be a link to System Restore in Accessories, in the Start Menu. If you cant find it, open help and support and search for it.

It guides you through the process very well, so you shouldnt need any help in doing it.

Hopefully that will work. But if it doesnt, reply back to us, and we'll try something else.

System Restore wont get rid of any changes you have made to your "My Documents" folder. It will reset the program files, and registry changes to the specified date.
