reinstalled xp, lost everything no cd,drivers,etc

i tried to reinstall xp from the recovery disk and when it reinstalled it erased everything, wont recognize cd rom drives so cant do much of anything please help

Well.... The whole point of reinstalling is to erase everything... If you need drivers, then look on the internet, OR install them from the recovery CD(s) that your computer manufacturer has supplied you with.
