Computer Crashes

I have MS IE6 Windows 98SE.  
I go on line and try to save web page in my Favorites, but as soon as I hit the Favorite or Add to favorite button ... my computer crashes. I get various fatal exception errors like, fatal exception error 06, fatal exception OD, explorer caused a general protection fault in module krnl 386.exe.  Can anyone help me sort this out?
