Printer sensor - what does it mean?
« on: September 15, 2008, 05:39:12 AM »
Hi

I am new here so Hi! I am sure this is a pretty simple query to those in the know! :-[

I have an OKI C3200 lazer printer; I have just changed the drum and black ink but it is now saying on the error message that there is an error with the black toner sensor - what does this mean!???? ???

All help much appreciated

You need to read the manual. The sensor might   be just a little switch or button. When the toner is in and the door is closed the sensor can tell if everything is in the right place. If it is an optical sensor, there might be powder that got into it and you have to blow it out. :P
