Everything looks fine as far as malware is concerned.

    What problems still remain?

The whole drag and drop of anything into folders and "explore" and "open" being switched when right clicked.

I do thank you for the cleaning up though.

Also one other thing concerns me. Before when pictures were saved to the desktop there would show a little preview of it yet now it shows up like this:

Now the malware is gone here are a few things to try.

Restore and Reset File Association in Windows Vista Back to Original Default

      Windows Explorer Folder View settings

      ----------

We also want to clean up the mess from all of the tools plus a few other steps.

      Delete Rsit.exe

      • Click START then RUN
      • Now type Combofix /u in the runbox
      • Make sure there's a space between Combofix and /u
      • Then hit Enter.
      .
      .
      The above procedure will:
      • Delete:
        • ComboFix and its associated files and folders.
        • VundoFix backups, if present
        • The C:\Deckard folder, if present
        • The C:_OtMoveIt folder, if present
        • Reset the clock settings.
        • Hide file extensions, if required.
        • Hide System/Hidden files, if required.
        • Set a new, clean Restore Point.
        .
        ----------

Download OTCleanIt.exe and save it to your Desktop.
        • Double-click OTCleanIt.exe.
        • Click the CleanUp! button.
        • Select Yes when the "Begin cleanup Process?" prompt appears.
        • If you are prompted to Reboot during the cleanup, select Yes.
        • The tool will delete itself once it finishes, if not delete it yourself.
        .
        ----------

Use the Secunia Software Inspector to check for out of date software.
        • Click Start Now
        • Check the box next to Enable thorough system inspection.
        • Click Start
        • Allow the scan to finish and scroll down to see if any updates are needed.
        • Update anything listed.
        .
        ----------

Go to Microsoft Windows Update and get all critical updates.

        ----------

Some didn't want to work. Wish there was a way to enlarge the screen shot for you.

Oh and the folders still can't have anything dragged into them. The icons for the images saved haven't changed either after doing all the instructions you've posted.

I'm going to have to suggest you post in the Microsoft Windows forum for help. I'm not a Vista user and many of the people who visit that forum are and will be able to give more specific advice then me.

Link to this thread so they can see what all has been done, specifically this one here http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,67037.msg435768.html#msg435768

              No problem.

At least you know it's not malware now.
